The ceramic is totally different from the older aluminum 16610 type,on the ceramic the bezel floats on 3 spring loaded ball bearings plus a spring loaded click stop.So there will be a tiny bit of play both lateral and up and down its spring loaded.And you say not centered centered to what, the only thing the bezel has to line up with or like you say center with, is to where ever the minute hand is on the dial.This is when using the simple time lapse bezel while under water or timing things.Its not meant to be left permanently withing a cats whisker of the 12 marker. I was quite surprised how much play there was actually.
